OASIS star NOEL GALLAGHER has donated the numerous accolades his band have won to people tenuously linked to each award - because he's not comfortable decorating his home with statuettes.
The LIVE FOREVER guitarist picked up a Best Documentary gong for DEFINITELY MAYBE - which documents the recording of their seminal 1994 debut album - at this month's (FEB05) NME AWARDS in London.
But rather than adorn his mantelpiece with the bronze honour, he plans to donate it to director of the Definitely Maybe film.
Gallagher says, "What we usually do is if we win Best Band, we give it to someone in the office. If we win Best Live, we give it to one of the crew, so this will probably go to the guy who made the DVD.
"We don't keep them. We don't do the gold disc or platinum disc thing. We just give them away - to charities and things to auction off."
