What are some good unreleased Oasis songs that have been bootlegged or are known about from interviews, etc? I mean songs that were actually recorded, not just something Noel may have written but never recorded.
I know of a few from the Definitely Maybe period - Strange Thing, Life in Vain, Take Me - I've heard those are good. Are they? And are they available on bootleg or online somewhere?
There's Solve My Mystery and It's a Crime from the SOTSOG sessions - I have those (found a download online).
Some other names I've heard floated around are Colour My Life and See the Sun (both from pre-DM).
Is there any unreleased stuff - outtakes and the like - from the Morning Glory period? Songs that were never released or maybe songs from BHN that were recorded earlier and shelved? I'm especially curious about this period b/c I've heard a lot about unreleased stuff from the DM and pre-DM period but not much from the MG period.

All the songs you mentioned (minus the SOTSOG demos)and a few more are on bootlegs called The Early Years (there's two versions of it each with a couple of songs the other doesn't have) and The Lost Tapes. Request them in the Sound And Vision section or download Soulseek off www.slsknet.org and look for them. Also the secret Borderline show in '94 was bootlegged and it had an instrumental that never came out anywhere else.

To be honest the old songs are pretty poor - it's worth having them for curiosity value but there is nothing that you would say is a "lost Oasis classic" or anything like that.
It's fair to say they took a massive leap forwards between the stuff on The Lost Tapes and Definitely Maybe.
As far as unreleased songs from the MG era are concerned I think Noel used up most of the leftovers for Be Here Now and B-sides etc.
You can tell he was short of material, hence the cover versions we saw on some of the singles.
It's not a lost song but you can get the demo for Some Might Say, sung by Noel, on the Japanese version of the single.

There's a song called "Bonehead's Bank Holiday" from around 1995 I think it was.

That's on the vinyl version of WTSMG - not really a "lost" song, mind.
