Liam Gallagher has revealed that Oasis have completed work on their new as-yet-untitled album and are looking forward to causing agro on their upcoming UK tour, while rumours of a possible album title have surfaced.
Speaking at the UK Radio Aid day (January 17) Gallagher explained that Oasis’ album is nearly complete, save the final stages of studio mixing, and as soon as its ready he’s intending on causing as much grief as possible.
“We’re gonna finish this record off, master it, and go out there and do some gigs.” He explained, “And hopefully get up as many people’s noses as we can.”<br> “It sounds good, it sounds good man. Very nice. It’s sort of done now, we just need to get it mastered and then put it in the cover and away we go.”
After performing ‘Songbird’ with guitarist Gem, Gallagher also donated two items for the Radio Aid auction. Firstly a signed gold disc of the Oasis album ‘Be Here Now’ (“The best one,” Gallagher explained, “And there’s still some copies left so go and buy one...”) and a signed Fender guitar (which is currently attracting bids of over £4,5000).

Rumours have also started circulating that Oasis’ new Dave Sardy-produced album will be entitled ‘Don't Believe The Truth’, and the first single will be ‘I Stand Alone’ which should be released in late March.
Either way, Noel Gallagher himself has confirmed that the new record will definitely include tracks 'Guess God Thinks I'm Able', ’Part Of The Queue’ and ‘The Importance Of Being Idle’ and is pencilled in for release on May 16.
Oasis are heading out on a full UK tour later this year and according to Noel have "bagged some magnificent support bands" for the jaunt.
no news,but well...
