i can understand why people want OASIS to keep everything like it was I LOVED IT as much as anyone. but these people need to figure out what they want ???do they want OASIS to be like great bands like the clash and jam and do a few lps and split up early or do they want them to be more like the the zeps, who,and stones of the world who gain longevity and sound somewhat different from lp to lp . I THOUGHT GLOBE summed it up best its gonna be a great rock record period but musicians need to change a little EVEN NOEL or instead of looking forward to a seventh studio lp in a couple of years we will be posting what a great run OASIS had and be like jam and clash fans praying for a reunion. ITS just my opinion but i want them around for along time so i aint worrying about SONG TITLES OR STYLE

Led Zepplin didn't actually have that many albums. I don't care if Oasis change their style. I love the very early Oasis (boardwalk stuff) right to Oasis now. I like every different album in a different way and struggle to put them in an order of favourites. I like Oasis albums more than others depending on my moods which is great. I have phases of liking different albums. I think it's great seeing as there is always an album to suit my mood which is beneficial for a band. When i'm happy and off the wall at a party i will stick on Columbia or Cigarettes and Alcohol really loud. If i'm quiet i tend to listen to stuff like Idlers Dream or Roll It Over (these are just examples) each album has it's loud and quiet songs. I'd buy the new album if Noel had gone Ska!... Noel (or anybody else in the band) have never let me down with an album yet.

Led Zepplin didn't actually have that many albums. i agree with u mate on everything u said about OASIS except that zep had,,, led zep1 led zep2 led zep3 led zep4( or just plain zep with the old man on it) houses of the holy physical graffitti(double lp) presence in through the outdoor thats 8 studio lps between the end of 68 til the end of 79 or early 80 whenever "in thru the outdoor" was released i dont know about you mate but i would consider 8 studio lps (1 a double) in 11 years a large body of work (not to mention the live double lp and coda) I meant they did alot of lps and all there styles were great and expect OASIS TO DO THE SAME ;D

led zep1 (1968 led zep2 (1969) led zep3 (1970) led zep4( or just plain zep with the old man on it) (1971) houses of the holy (1973 physical graffitti(double lp) (1975) presence (1976) in through the outdoor (1979) ------- +coda (1982)
if we count the latter as a studio album. It was released about two years after Bonham's death and band split.
and about Stones I like first 15 years till Some Girls 1978. After that I can't say that I like all albums, just a couple of tracks from an album. The best albums of Stones are 1965-1972, then they released Exile on a Main Street, Let it Bleed, Beggar's Banquet, Between the Buttons and Sticky Fingers, which are all great records. About 1973-1977 I have mixed feelings, I like I Know It's Rock 'n Roll and Angie, but the albums weren't so good. Some Girls was great record, but after that they haven't released something like it...
----- If the band is to disband in a couple of years. I want them doing it in proper way. When Noel and others hit their 40s, Liam si in his middle-late 30s, they release a couple of LPs, make second Masterplan and with 8-9 records finally call it a day.

Ok, fair enough about the Zepplin thing (i'm not really a huge fan of theirs and i didn't think it was that many).
If Oasis split i want the members to do their own thing (Andy almost definitely will seeing as he does it now).
I'd love to hear a Noel solo album and i'd love Gem to do his own thing (Heavy Stereo rocked!). (Not sure about what Liam would do, he'd probably do something).
I'm not worried about the next album, it'll be great
