somehow I just can't see RKID and the Chief sharing the mics with this crowd "Others being approached include Robin and Barry Gibb of The Bee Gees, jazz musician Jamie Cullum, Chris Rea and Olivia Newton-John. Richard and Boy George have already recorded their vocal parts. "

Definitely don't see it happening. Even if you did something like that with Weller, Morrissey, Ian Brown, and anyone else they'd want to sing with I don't see it happening. It's just too cheesy. Although I'd still buy it of course.

Well i do remember noel once saying the beegees were one of the best bands ever so you never know! Yeah, on the Definitely Maybe DVD Coyley says something about Noel getting him into "all the early Bee Gees stuff" (they must have really gone downhill once the disco years kicked in). I can't see Oasis doing anything remotely like the arse-licking exercise that was Band Aid 20 - THANK GOD! I think they prefer to give rare songs to fundraising albums and do stuff like the Help album rather than wanky stuff like that.

i heard this morning that there's going to be a telethon on either nbc or cbs or some main network for relief- i guess like the 9/11 tribute to heroes.
