No guys I know what he means. I hear it too. (scary ooo)  First you hear Morning glory and then Noel says somethin' like; "that's one of those that always....." Always comes through the song or something? And at the end of the videoclip he says with a big smile. Well kids, who was that band? ;D |

It's funny, that part in the video clip that Noel says "Who was that band?" it also has in the end of that quick version that Liam is singing Hurricane's "Step into my world" ... what is that for??  |

Its Noel telling the rest of the band he's just sacked Tony - played backwards. that's like the Paul McCartney is dead stories apparently during I am the Walrus in the Magical Mystery Tour album Forwards: "Please don't be long, please don't you be very long, please don't be long or I may be asleep." Backwards: "He said 'get me out!' Paul is what is, Paul is Hare Krishna it seems. Paulie is bloody" Honestly, who would bother do even do that?! |

Noel says - "I've sacked him" then some other voice says something which I cant make out, then Noel says - "I took him for a walk and sacked him". which conveniently sounds like Noel singing the chorus to Morning Glory If Liam, Noel or anybody else in the band at the time says it's true i'll believe it but seeing as they don't like to complicate their music much (especially around the time Acquiesce was written and recorded) i'm doubting it |

If you reverse that bit, which is the clip I uploaded, you can clearly hear Noel saying that he's just sacked Tony. |

I dunno about very clearly being able to tell that he says "we sacked tony" but he def says something about tony.. Very cool stuff globeafc
