Hey guys,
On the Definitely Maybe DVD you could see Oasis recording the Beatles cover "I am the walrus". In my opinion "I am the walrus" is brilliant and the best song The Beatles created.
Oasis has made their own version of that song, and i think it's mega. On the Masterplan you can find this song as a live version. But on the DVD i've seen Oasis were making a studio version. I'd like to know if this studio version realy exist. And is this record downloadable somewhere ? Please help me out !
cheers ya old lads !

Isn't the 'I am the walrus' on the masterplan album not actually live but recorded in the studio?

i mean that it was the soundcheck at gleneagles... No, it says on the Cigarettes and Alcohol and Masterplan sleeve that it is live at Glasgow Cathouse. Noel has later said contrary to that, they use excerpts from the crowd at the Glasgow Cathouse, the actual song was played at a Sony Music conference after the band had been drinking (hense some of the sloppyness in the song).

The crowd is from a Small Faces gig.
