NME interviewed Gary Lightbody from SNOW PATROL and had following question:
Q:"Look, I'm not saying your songs are rubbish, per se, but it just strikes me as odd that, Embrace aside, most bands turn their noses up at a practice which is as old as Rock n Roll itself. The next OASIS album would be amazing if they got some songwriters in."
A: I have no comment on Oasis at all..........

NME is a mix between papers like the sun and a musical journal. they often make attractive headlines which are lies or sentences taken out of context... they need to sell their paper every week unlike other musical journals...they are not always honest...

noel lyrics are gettin' worst, and as he said he is more worried in the music than in the lyrics, but he can make great lyrics again

thing is with the nme, all the reviews depend on which journalist does it. Some of the guys love oasis some hate them.
I know theres one bitch who hates everything they ever do so i never even bother reading anything by her.

who cares what the nme tells you to like or dislike!
i honestly never read the rag because it is written by a bunch of failed rock stars trying badly to copy julie burchill and tony parsons style that was set as the papers format 25 years ago.
me, i am going to have to buy oasis tickets for next years tour on e-bay because it sold out!
you never listen to a music paper to tell you what is cool/uncool in music.
you use your ears.

see? i think they're a disgrace to music. there are far better bands than the soundtrack of our lives that have not and will not be heard. but that's just ignorance. and this type of ignorance doesn't just come from americans...
