wow..well hopefully im wrong and theres more to the song that what i heard...glad to hear others actually liked it
but honestly, if another band had a song like 'meaning of soul' i'd think they didnt have a good songwriter in em...its not even that punk to me, just very one dimensional..sounds like a bad bside, hopefully it turns out better than 'full on'..
i really hope those reports of it bein on the new album turn out wrong..

liam and noel should be the only writers. Everyone says hung in a bad place is great but if it were on DM or morning glory it would be the worst song. A bell will wring is horrible and im praying its not on the album, the meaning of soul is ok but i think if they want an amazing album they cant make any of these songs anything more then b sides.

Yeah, I thought MoS sounded rubbish.

A Bell will ring sounds like a cheap ballad
Meaning of Soul sounds like Liam was trying to be a bit profound, but failed. And the guitar has no fucking substance.

I like both of the new songs, hiabp is a great song sounds better live! quoted by liam "fuck definately, fuck all that," Its about now! + the new stuff sound more lennon like. I also think meaning of soul sounds abit like nirvanas' dain you.
the new stuff will be great on a studio mixed album.
they never let me down except for only ever putting 10 or 11 song on albums.

I think A Bell Will Ring at Poole is much more rocking than the Glastonbury version - Meaning of Soul ends too bluntly

Out of the MoS and ABWR i much prefer ABWR. ABWR i think could be a decent track on an album but i just don't like MoS. Maybe it's because you can't hear the lyrics clearly and it sounds like 1 of the pre-noel songs.

i agree with columbia and digs in that noel(mainly) and liam should be the only writers." hung" in my opinion would not have made the cut on any of the first 3 lps (in my opinion) i think that with all the line up changes noel doesent want to lose andy and gem so he throws them a bone and lets them get a tune each on new lps.which i dont agree with i want the best 12 or 14 tunes to be released and i think that they will come from the brothers(again just my opinion)
