Is it just me or did Noel go on and on about this tune, he said how good it was, it was f'ckin shite. Not to mention it was released like a year before on a movie soundtrack. He should have left it off HC and put on Idler's Dream.

i love the guitar fills in that song!!!
It's a rocking song. Out of the whole album it's more like a Definitely Maybe song with the amp effects (the crunch and heavy power chords)
anyway... i don't think that going from the Hindu Times to Idler's Dream would work... especially going to Hung in a Bad Place after that!
Idler's Dream is a great song (one of my favourites) and if it was on the album i think that it would be like Little James (which got slated!) Little James should have been left out and been a B-Side because it was a quiet piano song in a pshycadelic or hard rock album. Put Yer Money where Yer Mouth is (for example... heavy power chords and ranting vocals) on an album with Little James sounds kinda stupid. I think Noel was learning from his mistakes by keeping it a B-side.
Nevertheless, Force of Nature is a rockin' song!

Wait a minute, just cos we are all oasis fans it doesn't mean we have to like everything they do, besides the intro is a rip off of iggy pop who is double shite.

Force of Nature is a great song IMO - it definitely has that rock edge to it that harks back to the very start of oasis. Thats why in reviews of the album (HC) it was always called 'oasis-by-numbers' which can't be a bad thing...
Love how angry Noel sounds in his vocals too.. I swear he must have been pissed off with Meg when he wrote it! (although I know he has denied this before).
