just watched behind the music (thank you eggy) and some guy from rolling stone said oasis weren't the best band in the world, even though they said they were.
well, if oasis weren't, who was?
i believe oasis were the best band in the world.

i remember that part of the show quite well
wasn't is a geeky yank that said that?
he looked like he wouldn't know a top tune if Mr. Lennon himself came back down to earth and beat him over the head with it...jmo
he probably thought rem was the best band at that time

IMO theres a difference between those 2 things. Oasis isnt THAT good seeing noel isnt a major guitarist and liam..... well, you know what i mean. Endless discussion this... |

Oasis isnt THAT good seeing noel isnt a major guitarist and liam..... well, you know what i mean. Endless discussion this... your right eggy that its a endless discussion,but you dont need to have the best guitarist to be the best band harrisson was never the best but the beatles were the best band of their time,when u-2 were considered the best the edge was never the guitat virtuosso. as for liam even in america where he is considered a flake (not by me) he was voted in rolling stone as the second best voice of the 90s after eddie vedder. to be the best u need to heve the best songs and the period betwwen DM and MORNING GLORY they had the best tunes so at that time I think they were the best band in the world anyway like u said its a endless discussion mate |
