I've been thinkin'. We are waiting for the next album for almost 3 years now. That actually far to long.
Now we are waiting so long, it MUST be a good album. Something that gives us that WOW feeling !
Not another HC please. Please some very good shit guys. Cos if not, what would happen to Oasis ?
The shite fans will piss over them I guess, but I don't think you're a fan at all if they'll do that. But still ...
I wonder ... what if the next album will dissapoint us ?

itll be another HC...probably better, but dont expect a dm, or a bhn, noel said that was when they were into drugs, and unemployed... and more... its in the news room: "good times don make for good music" that explains all, and this are good times for em...
if its a shitty album ill still like oasis and continue listenin to their old songs, but i can bet ill still like the new cd, anyway!

Yeah like somebodt else said....IF!!! -small word big meaning. Never in a million years do i belive the next album will be poor, not very good or not up to the usual Oasis standard. This is Oasis we're talking about....they always manage to pull something good out of the bag and keep everyone happy. There maybe one or two songs on the album i won't be too impressed with or like as much as others on it but the album won't be shite....purely cos of the fact it's by the lads. ....a non-biased view  ;D ;D Now hurry up lads and get it released!!!! |

yeah.. i think that should be the case here.. Realistically speaking, I think we should expect something like HC.. hopefully a little bit better with some more rock n roll tunes... There will never be another DM or WTSMG because of what Noel said in the DVD.. those albums and BHN were written by Noel before Oasis was ever signed to Creation.. and that was when he was still young and on the dole and doing drugs and full of inspiration, etc, etc.. |

I'm hopeful the new album will be good and have that wow factor. Even if it is an average oasis album I'm sure it'll be alot better than most other stuff out there! Also I'm glad I'm not the only person who was a little under-whelmed by HC and still thinks Be Here Now is a cool album ..  |

noel has taken the his time for SOTSOG too and that album wasnt that good either in compartison to their old stuff.
guy, you know what it is:
were just spoiled by oasis with their first 4 albums, thats what keeps our expectations so high for every next album...

eggy ,,what do you consider takin time? sotsog was released in 99, bhn 97 , 2 years to me is not a long period of time to make a lp in my opinion, i agree with you (as usual)  that we were spoiled by the first few lps but i thought hc was a very good lp off a 3 year break (99-02) and have faith that this break of 3 years will again justify OASIS as QUALITY ;D |

sotsog was released in 99 it was released in 2000 and eggy is right..our expectations are high cause of the good quality of the first 4 cds... |

am i really the only one who likes HC at least as much as BHN & WTSMG? coz DM is way in front on my list. and the only one who likes all in the mind? damn i always new i am special. and many have said it before but i just didn't want to believe it as i needed a real reason. well that's not it but it's damn close to it  anyway i expect a good album. i know it won't be the next DM or anything like it but i wonder about the production, which should be fuckin mad as they've spent millions on it. if the songs are decent rock'n'roll/"britrock" tunes and the production being better than HC - which i like a lot - that'll do me. |
