this was in another post so i'd like to get some more people's views, who do you like better...
I think hands down, Gem is better than Bonehead, i think he's cooler and a more talented musician however with Andy and Guigsy, Andy is clearly the better musician but Guigs was just as cool...
don't get me wrong, i never disliked Bonehead but i'm a bit of a Heavy Stereo fan, Gem is cooler

andy & gem are top musicians - in that aspect way better than guigsy and bonehead. but these are part of a history that andy & gem are not. i don't care who's more cool when it comes to music - andy & gem play better and fit the band just as good as bonehead and guigsy did. they're history but we live in the present and look into future - in which andy & gem may write their part of oasis history... if they don't - world won't collide, but if they do - great. until then i give them the chance to prove themselves.

oasis is musically better than ever.
we all miss the old members cause they just fit the band exactly at that moment, and they are part of the band's history.

I prefer Bonehead and Guigsy
If ya look at the video to whatever and then look at the video to stop crying your heart out you will see why
The whole face of the bands changed since they left Bonehead and Guigsy didn't look like rock n roll stars, they looked like they were just about to go down the pub, they were unique and thats why I prefered them.

while GEM and ANDY are no doubt better musicians
to me a band is more about karma , and I just feel OASIS were a true GANG with bonehead and guigs .
while i love the new lineup I would take the unpolished more punk version any day.

And i agree with the posts about the karma thing and the whatever and SCYHO videos.. though i don´t know if that doesn´t have to do more with them laying off drugs (heavy drugs, that is  ) and getting older then with bonehead and guigsy.. anyway, i do prefer bonehead and guigsy cause they were there from the beginning and bonehead is just so cool.. ;D not saying gem and andy aren´t awesome (that part on the DVD about "shake along with gem" is great) it´s just that i´d rather have the other two.. |

I like Gem and Andy better because Oasis seems more like a complete band now. The two actually have input into the music. It seemed like Bonehead and Guigs were just there. Granted, that may have been by Noel's choice, who knows?

Bonehead and Guigs, the original lineup defined the Oasis sound. When Bell and Gem came on it made it different and really the old Oasis was gone.

both couple are greats!!!..they are awsome!!....
and its different, cuase my 2 favourite's oasis cds....are morning glory and heathen....and there are different couples in this cds....so i cant decide :s

Well looking at it now, i feel that the old 'gang' were cool but somebody mentioned Karma, i feel that Oasis has a better Karma with the new members, they seem more relaxed and i feel that they find the gigs easier, i don't know but i think that Gem and Andy (and Zak) have made Oasis' music better and the band still seem that they can be heavy... i feel that the more quiet and mellow songs have benefitted from Gem and Andy because they have a wider musical range. Bonehead and Guigs however were rockin'!
