OASIS may enlist the help of BEATLES drummer RINGO STARR on their new album.
Noel Gallagher has explained that the band will travel to LA to finish work on the album, and will take advantage of the fact that interim drummer Zak Starkey’s famous dad lives in the same city.
"Zak will drum on the bulk of it," Noel explained to Xfm, "And we’re gonna try – while we’re out there – to get his dad down the studio cos he lives in LA. So we’re gonna try and get him on cos we’ve got this one song which is quite… well, fucking funnily enough, it sounds like The Beatles, and we’re gonna try and get him and his dad on the same track. Then again Ringo might just tell us to f**k off."
Noel also said that the band will be touring as soon as the album is finished, the band’s first full tour since July 2002.
"To be honest," Noel continued, "We spent that much money f**king pissing about on the new album we’ll be touring it for the next four years. So by the time this next album cycle comes around everyone will be sick to f**king death of Oasis. We’ll have to play London 15 times I’d have thought, but we'll have to start doing gigs sharpish."

best news i have heard in a while!!! ;D
I hope they WANT to tour and do all the gigs though, cos Noel says HAVE to. They don't have to, unless they want to.
Definitely. You could tell they were bored towards the end of the Heathen Chemistry tour and were just going through the motions. I saw them in Nottingham and they were very average. Having said that, I was driving so I was sober and jealous of everyone who was drinking so maybe that had something to do with it.
FREE IPOD-- sign up, complete an offer, get five other people to complete an offer through your link, get an ipod. The company makes enough money from the advertisors that they are able to fund an ipod for you. woo

zak is a really really crap drummer!
ringo was funny and that carried him through.
zak makes tony mccarol look like john henry bonham on the skins.
zak wont be any good for this band, glastonbury 04 and he made supersonic sound sooooooo sllllllloooooowww.
thump....thump..thump.thump...thump....give that man a cardboard box.
sure, i can see the appeal of a beatle kid in the band to the brothers but the crappest beatles even crapper sibling!
me, i am sick looking at rock stars spoilt talentless children singing and dancing and being shit and getting tv careers as shit singers/reality tv shows because they are spawn of famous people.
there are so many of these spoilt brats these days. no talent though.
themasterplanet: A Northern Soul by The Verve! My second favourite album by them. I love the atmosphere of it, it’s very dreamy and melancholic and dark. It holds many memories for me and I think that’s partly responsible for why I love it so much.

AllOrNothing: Up in the Sky sounds like the La's on steroids, especially that Liam Falsetto that I can almost picture Lee Mavers singing with all his big teeth showing

Bring It On Dan: I have so much shit on an old hard drive somewhere but I just cannot find it. Nothing 'out there' but probably 200 gigs or so. I can't remember the name of the site that had all the gigs listed and sources for loads of gigs next to it? I remember RKID 003.
