I think it's fantastic. It's not so good comparing with the songs of SotSoG, but... really is excellent song and debut by Liam. Really... is there really no one who really like it...? I think it's really great song. Great all the way...

Actually no. I like the song as well, except for the line about playing with toys even though they make noise. Besides that I think it's a pretty good song.

The one thing I like about Little James is the chord progression. Verse 1: G F6 C G Verse 2: G Fadd9 C G Chorus: Fadd9 C G Fadd9 C G Take away the lyrics and its proper chilled out. People dont really look into the lyrics of Little James do they? I mean the lyrics arent THAT bad: 'We weren't meant to be grown ups' 'Thankyou for your smile' 'It wont be long' 'Before everyone is gone' Its just the plasticine and trampoline bit aint it really?  |

If you play guitar try playing: Intro: F6 C G G G: Little James, were all the same F6: Always seem to look to us, we weren't meant to be grown ups, C: Thank you for your smile, G You make it all worthwhile to us Try just strumming the top three strings while playing the chords. I think its sounds pretty bang on anyway. |

I actually like this song like it is. It reminds me of those John Lennon songs like "Imagine", Let It Be", and a bit of hey Jude at the end. I think Liam is a great song writer. Liam has to practice on writing lyrics. It would be great when Liam has written some songs for the new album which are "Johnny L.-ish", and with some lyrics we had on Shakermaker and Supersonic, those meaningless cool Beatle lines ya know ... we'll see ...

Lennon songs like "Imagine", Let It Be", and a bit of hey Jude the last two are Macca songs but i can see your point. LJ is an ok song not as bad as everybody says but it aint a masterpiece either. dont care much bout the lyrics, to me the loud organ just doesnt fit. |
