I think he wrote sta young in 96 or early 97 or so, seeing its release date. And just getting older was probably written in 99 or somewhere round that. I know it was on the internet way before the official release...

stay young was written around mid-1993 where noel made his first plans about the working line-up for the second album. stay young was supposed to be on it along with a couple of other tracks that were then released during the BHN period or just kicked in favour of other songs. stay young was also the first track they recorded for the BHN album recordings in nov 96. i think the lyrics speak for themselves..nothing much to explain there.
got this interview excerpt about JGO
originally written as a demo for the SOTSOG album, and this b-side version sounds identical to the demo that's been around for the past 4,5 years.

Was noel making plans about the working line-up for the 2nd album in in mid-93 ? ? Thats a bit early isnt it? I thought it was just written after morning glory, and was originally on BHN, but was kicked of by Magic Pie...
