I just came back from a trip to Israel.
I wasn't really surprised that there was no mention of Oasis (they haven't released anything in a couple of years and even in Canada, where i reside, most people think that Oasis's last release was Morning Glory)...but I was surprised when I was told by someone that they had been quite popular in Isreal until Noel said something that was anti-isreal or anti-semetic.

The person I asked couldn't remember the quote in detail but she thought it had to do with noel's rude response when an isreali interviewer asked if Oasis were coming to isreal for a concert.

I know my details are quite sketchy but does anyone have any idea about any of this?

This interview, man its too funny to be real.Its noel and bonehead, in the peak of the drug period and the two of them are answering stupid questions from journalist around the world.
