I found this on some website:
"Noel Gallagher wrote the line, "Stand up beside the fireplace, take that look from off your face" because when he was a kid, his mother used to make him stand next to the fireplace and have photos taken. He always looked grumpy in these photos, so she told him to take that look from off his face."
Does any of you know if this is true or not?

"whats the story, morning glory" came from this old wino who walked the high streets of manchester shouting to everyone that exact term.
winos do that shit, you know!
he was also known as sparticus and used to shout "i am sparticus"
and the voices in his head would reply with "no i am sparticus" "no me, i am sparticus" " i am the true sparticus"
thank god he never saw "the great escape" instead.
morning glory probably would have been called "the cooler king"
