How are they? I'm going to purchase some UK singles (I live in the US). I'm not sure if I should just focus on the 1994-1996 singles. I think I may also order some of the singles from the SOTSOG and HC periods.
But what about Be Here Now? I'll acknowledge that BHN is not my favorite album. I enjoy some of the songs, but the album just sounds massively over-produced and uninteresting to me in general. If I don't like the general sound of the album, will I like the B-Sides?
So between DYKWIM, Stand By Me, and All Around the World, what do you think? How are they? Which should I buy and what are the B-Sides on each album like?

Oh my god, they are amazing. I read somewhere that at one point Be Here Now was conceived to be a double album and I feel there was definitely enough great material for that. The whole era was the peak of Noel's ambition and creativity. There are a lot of great Noel-sung ones: Flashbax Going Nowhere The Fame
Just brilliant songs. And then there is Stay Young, I Got the fever and my sister lover. I got the fever is one of my all time favorites, great summer song.
I would get them all if I were you.

downloaded? and you call yourself an oasis fan?! Dude, most American fans or other fans outside Uk just do the downloading on b-sides off the singles. Why pay so much for a single? I mean pay shipping and all for a single, it's crazy to do that way. It's the record companies fault not the fans.

I think that the b-sides of BHN are quite similar to the album, at least for the production... but DYKWIM sounds all right to me. Stay Young's a great song, Angel Child's acoustic, and Heroes is a good cover. So go buy it! (and the 94-96 singles)

no way. unless you are u2 or macca who regularly rob their audiences by pushing the ticket prices much too high you hardly make THE money on the road. 30 euros for an oasis show in europe averagly attended by 5-6k people = 180.000 x 80 shows a year = 14.400.000 - 40% > 5.700.000 E (:5 per bandmember!!)
20 Euro per album, 15 million copies a year = 300.000.000 - 40% = 120.000.000 (:5 per bandmember + noels songwriter royalties)

Flashbax is top!!! For that matter so is (I Got)The Fever and Stay Young and well fuck me but I am chuffed cos they all are good. I am one of the ones who thinks the original Oasis lineups albums ALL were fucking great. 1993-1998 were my glory years and all that music is just spine tingling great for me... to bad BHN is so underrated. I wish they had released Don't Go Away as a UK single and then had a 3rd and final 'cigarette case' box for the BHN singles like the 1st two LPs had.

The trouble is that the good B-sides in the Be Here Now era were spread across all the singles so it's not like there is one single that it is way better than the others and an obvious one to buy (like Some Might Say was for Acquiesce and Talk Tonight).
In my humble opinion the best ones are Stay Young (DYKWIM? single) and Going Nowhere (Stand By Me).
I Got The Fever is ok and is also on Stand By Me so that's probably the best one to go for.
The rest of the B-sides, I'm afraid, are pretty average and in some cases almost embarassing - ie The Fame.
Probably best to (whisper it) download them.

get 'em off ebay that's where I got mine. as for downlaoding b-sides - shame on you I agree with eggy on this one (he does make some sense, sometimes) - download to listen and buy if you like. I got them all, becasue I'm a sad geek. But then again, I'm choosy on boots - If I won't ever listen to it, as it's so shite, I delete it. If you want to "listen" to the later b-sides go here theoasis.by.ru/Fans/sotsog_singlesblock.shtmltheoasis.by.ru/Fans/hc_singlesblock.shtml

I think they are okay, but just that, none of them are one of Oasis's greats b-sides, like Acquisece, The Masterplan or Let's All Make Believe, that you go "What hell are those songs doing out of the album???!!! they're brilliant!!".... they are songs that were right to be put out of Be Here Now, but still are good songs to hear...

"My Sister Lover" is probably the best from the Be Here Now era.
