As I expected (told you so ) , Starkey joining Oasis for this summers big Glasto gig is creating quite some waves in US based news pages. News sites like MSNBC and CNN have joined the many entertainment sites reporting on this for the past few days. My thought was always that the word 'Beatles' in any context would trigger this and it has ! Hope they deliver the goods after the hype they've deserved has finally arrived .......

german media is going crazy all over the place as well. every tv channels teletext is headlining it before any news about iraq/bush/interior pol. ! the country's most important weekly political magazine issued even an article and usually they very rarely mention the word music in that paper at all (except for reviewing fucking operas or summat)
