NME once wrote following for their review of the Paris Bataclan gig back in 02, should this guy look for a new job or does he know his shit ?
Oasis are at their best when they are playing dirty, greasy rock'n'roll music. They should never have tried to be The Beatles, but stuck to being Slade or T Rex instead....

hes right oasis are at their best when they try and sound like t-rex. take cigs and alcohol, noel totally ripped it off from 'get it on' by t-rex.
they dont really suit syceadelic beatle music, they suit dirty rock n roll.

i think i sort of agree with the nme guy why make a phsycadelic rock album?? its the old cliche for me, "why change something that isnt broken"??

they have to change, once youve made an album as good as definitely maybe or morning glory whats the point in doing it again. Theyve already prooved they can make great albums like that, now they have to do something different, and im glad there atempting it.

i agree with u columbia but just hope they dont get too far off the tracks, if u no what i mean. who feels love and PYMWYMI are awful songs, probably 2 of the worst they've done but gas panic is awesome.

i agree about pymwymi but who feels love amazing imo.
Although sotsog had some sotsg had some psychedelic songs on it, it was a bit sort of in between, there were some songs that werent psychedelic. If there gonna change there style they've gotta go for it, nothing inbetween imo. Otherwise they just wont pull it off.
