The new album is called "Silence Is Easy." Is it?
The title was sort of an answer to our critics in Britain. We were never the rock stars like the Gallagher brothers from Oasis and Blur and bands like that. We've always been perceived by the press as just letting the music do the talking. But we drink, and we take drugs occasionally--we just don't go and tell the press that we do it all the time. What we do in our spare time is our business.
Maybe you need to do some more outlandish stuff to get the press' attention?
If you're a rock star like Liam Gallagher, and you're an asshole, you're going to be well covered. So maybe we'll start getting high in front of people ... that might boost our success.

More to the point, has he ever thought that being a totally uninspiring frontman who yaks about his "baby" onstage might lead people into thinking he's a dick!
That and they were crap - and it was raining - nuff said really!

these guys should just give up for good. maybe jump off some high place instead, and then i'll notice them.

yea, they are pretty crappy as a band. dont rate them at all.. just to samey and obvious!

they're not an awful, their debut album is great imho
their comments are stupid though. arrogant, when
they haven't actually done anything to be arrogant for

the gallaghers take a lot of punches at others; think there's no problem that they also receive some sort of backfire. kind of funny tho.
it's just that no one should give a thing about s-sailor's bass player.

i like starsailor, theyre a good bunch of mellow folks, nothing too bad about their music.

They got too much false hype- i remember watchin them on CD:uk...mmm, Cat.....umm, anyway, yeah, and they were introduced as the best new band in britain and how we should look out for them in the future and quotes from newspaper and mag reviews etc. And they plainly arent as good as they were made out to be. Debut album was good though. And to answer the thread title- Starsailor are not rock n roll! Same thing with The Vines- what happened?! Once again they got billed as something like the revolution in rock music in the world. They are fookin great, but where have they gone?! Its The Cat Deeley Kiss Of Death i say. And i'll have one any day.  |

i had to sit and watch that band wine on about being in bed before nine and, yes i heard the baby speech also.
i said it before, they are gayer than the gays!
they dont take drugs and the band is totally non-drinkers.
most boring band i have ever watched. ever.
