This email was sent to L4E member kalas regarding his request to play Oasis on Nyc's classic Rock Station Q104

We don’t like to label what is and isn’t classic. We simply go by the rule that if enough Q-104.3 listeners like a song, it’s classic. Thus, the Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Pearl Jam have made it onto our airwaves. Oasis, unfortunately, hasn’t quite made it. We have certainly asked about it but it doesn’t make the cut. I am one of many Oasis fans disappointed in your programming choice not to play the biggest Brit Rock Band of the nineties on your station more often. NYC is the band's biggest US fan hub and surely deserves to hear them on the cities only classic rock station ! Please reconsider this programming decision which we believe is based on Q-104's misjudgment of their listener's music tastes.
