The Mirror And The Razorblade Written by Noel. Lyrics:
(verse 1) The mirror and the razorblade If you live round here its where your dreams are made Theres no bench no bucket and spade for me
(verse 2) Rainy Monday afternoon All you need is your favorite tune The end of the day can't come too soon for me
(bridge) Its just sometimes I feel so alone Sitting here believing my best friend is my Theres nothing that I really own Its as though I've never grown My bird has flown
(chorus) I don't live for happy Mondays I think you're a disgrace with your plastic I don't believe you've never seen it I don't know what to say Coz all we need now Is a mirror and a razorblade
(verse 3) Remember what we used to say The dreams we dreamed and the games we'd play It doesn't matter anymore anyway to me
(repeat bridge & chorus)
Don't you think the first 2 verses sound very familiar?

I heard an early Oasis song a few months back with the lyrics,
"My body is young but my mind is very old."
Perhaps Noel might just like certain lines but not the actualy songs!

Its Half the World Away:
' Here I go, i'm still scratching around in the same old hole
My body feels young but my mind is very old
So what do you say' etc...........
Paul Wellers favourite Oasis track apparently.
