Has the song "Whatever" ever been released on an actual, official Oasis album or was it just released as a single? I ask cause I can't find it anywhere other than the single, which would have to be imported since it was never released in the States. I think Oasis should release another B-side compilation album for us Americans who can't get to this golden material with a few A-sides that wern't on the albums.

Whatever would have been nice on an album, but i think as soon as it was recorded and word got round about it, some tit decided he'd sue Oasis for nicking his song (if my memory serves me correctly it was some band called The Rutles and a song called How Sweet To Be An Idiot, if anyone has heard it-i havent). And he won. So Whatever never made it onto an album because otherwise they would have had to have paid s sh*tload of royalties, and considering you guys wanted it to be in WTSMG, thats a hell of a lot of money! I also think thats the reason Step Out never got onto any studio album (Stevie Wonder- Uptight). But then again, its kinda cool in a quirky way that it was a non-album single

I guess i was wrong you're probably confusing ot with Boneheads Bank Holiday which was included on the vinyl edition of WTSMG. and Sad Song was included on the vinyl of DM i'm afraid you'll have to import Whatever mate! not on any album or even live album that i know of. although maybe its on the Maine Road DVD?
