Having heard some of his previous stuff, as well as his impressive lyrics for Hung in a bad Place, I have to say I think he will be very prominent in the future. Perhaps not as prominent as Noel or Liam, but he will be a very useful third member

nah i dont think gem has the attitude like noel and liam have!

gem to me is a quiet person by himself....but if he has noel or liam by his side he's pretty funny but i doubt he can get as important as noel and liam!! thats just impossible. I'm sorry to say but Liam and Noel make Oasis its been proven cos when bonehead and guigsy left they stil kept Oasis going and found new members! it was noel and liam that went on the look out to keep Oasis going!

i think every member is as important as eachother. i think oasis sound much better as a band now, than they did with guigs and bonehead. i prefer their live sound. all bonehead did was strum barchords, gem adds more feel and class to their live and studio sound. even though andy is really a guitar player, hes still a class bassist. anyone that can pull off the bass solo in my generation is pretty good in my view!

oasis are still rockin and rollin..!

no, it doesnt make you a bad bassit, just doesnt make you as good as somone who can do the solo.
if you really want to play it, then practice at it.
thats what i did when i wanted to learn voodoo child by hendrix on guitar, i spent all day in my room practicing and practicing at it, and now im pretty good when playing it!
