hey it's okay. the good thing about Oasis is that their b-sides are better than a lot of bands a-sides... i'll take it

it is a good song, i agree. but i don't think it fits in with Heathen Chemistry as an album. It would be out of place, imo. An album is more than just a random collection of songs, it should have a structure, style or general message. i just don't think idlers dream would of fit in too well. it would've suited SOTSOG more 'Thank you for the good times' would've suited HC well. i would of put it in just after 'little by little'

Theres always a different song youd like on an album , I cant believe they didnt think The Fame was a better song than Magic Pie .. Idlers Dream is absolutley great -but it should be longer.
Its been said before but any oasis song is better than 95% of what music is out in the charts.

i'm lost about magic pie. Is the general agreement in town that it is a good song or a bad one?

i never used to like magic pie but last time i listened to Be here Now i was singing along at the top of my voice so i think magic pie is ok! lyrically - i'm not so sure i'm quite a big BHN fan though, not sure what other fans think of magic pie

I quite like Magic Pie but theres something about it...yknow I just cant quite get into it . I like the way it takes a quote from Tony Blair because it sets it in time "there are but a thousand days preparing for athousand years"

What I dont get is how She is Love got on the album and Idlers Dream and Just Getting Older didnt lets face it - She is Love got on the album because Noel insisted it did. Its a love song about his girlfriend so i'm not surprised he wanted it on HC, even if most people regard it as one of the album's weakest songs. If I wrote a love song for a girl, i'd want it to be on my new album! But first i'd need a girlfriend anyone interested in the world's worst job can apply by IM ;D sorry mape - ladies only

some say MP has the best oasis lyrics ever. They are sleeping while they dream And then they want to be adored They who don't say what they mean Will live and die by their own sword i like the verse but bridge and chorus are awful..and it's too long. (yet the album is the best

This song is amzaing, but I think it's not a usually oasissong. that could be a reason why the song is not on an album.
Cheers
