Some of my favorite Oasis songs are the early b-sides like "Headshrinker" and "Alive" that showcase a really different side to Oasis' sound, but I never hear about them mentioned among their best songs. Does anyone else agree?

yeah i love most oasis b-sides. the early ones are great but the morning glory era b-sides are my faves. i like angel child, d'you wanna be a spacemen, alive, its good to be free. yeah they did some good stuff possibly not as good lyrically as most oasis songs but i dunno - i'll have to get the old singles out again

I like the B sides to the Definitley Maybe singles better than most songs on the album , Take Me Away - the first of Noels melancoly acoustics and still the best I think . Loads of those early ones mention the phone dont they?

i'm listening to Take Me Away right now - i did'nt recognise it at the start! but as soon as the chorus started i remembered it. 'i'd like to be, under the sea but i'd probably need a phone' class! hehe. it is a great tune - its been so long since i heard. i will believe is next - i don't remember that one either! but i think definitely maybe is just about as perfect debut album as you can get

Oh of course Definitley Maybe is just complete quality , but yknow I think Alive , Fade Away and Take Me Away are even better than some of the songs on it .

oh i forgot about Fade Away! yes that song is great too. i have Alive on at the moment its a top tune - would be good to hear the full version, its only an 8 track demo. bring it on down live - i love it!! shame i have'nt seen the latest live gigs!! but some of the whats the story b-sides are amazing - the masterplan, step out, acquiesce, stay young - was stay young a be here now song? can't remember but its rocks! and Round are Way - love that one. half a world away too.

Yeah Stay Youngs on DYKWIM , Rockin Chair is the ace-est song . Best bit on Bring It On Down (Live)
"good evening great Britain --hello" Liam sounding like the god he is

;D yeah Liam is the best! its class that bit at the start of bring it on down! i love the solo though. my fave oasis solo - its hard to hear on the album version but stands out much more live. i can play it too! ;D rockin chair has never been one of my faves but i'll give it a listen tomorrow! i hear my bed calling

yeah i love rockin chair and headshrinker as well. The first 15 secs of underneath the sky sound amazin for some reason.
going back to "good evening Great Britain - hello", its also funny on supersonic (live forever b-side) when liam goes "this is gonna be the next single so go and buy it". The guitar at the end of that one sounds top.
