when you burn be sure to select "disc-at-once" but even then many burning programs stick the skipping sound in there and sometimes it's the fault of the player that you hear that skip. If you select "track-at-once" some programs let you customize the amount of time the break is in-between songs but I think you will still hear the skip even if you reduce the break to zero.
