the thing is when i download an oasis gig most times it comes to 88 mins or more.Is there any way of putting a complete gig onto 1 cd?

you could put it on an MP3 CD-ROM and buy a stereo that plays them. Most new boombox systems do now and prety much every DVD player sold now also plays them if you have a component system. I put a Kenwood MP3 capable CD player in my truck (under $200) back at home and I love it. Can fit over 100 songs on a single CDR so I only need to carry like three discs around with me. I'm gonna get one for the car I bought over here soon I love the thing!

oh ya to answer your question no you cannot compress standard .wav format files which is what go onto a music CDR. You could edit out some crowd noise in goldwave or some other editor but that kinds ruins the point of listening to the entire gig, doesn't it?
