Hey I'm getting a "Boot Disk Failure, Insert System Disk and Press Enter" message when I turn on my PC (I'm using a laptop now) but I can not find the disk. Where can I download one from? I can only see floppy disk shit, and me laptop no have floppy I tried going into the Setup for the BIOS thing, but it wants a bloody password, and my friking brother must have set it ages ago, but he is in friking Turkey at the moment HALP ME!!!!! Pleasex

But it could be anywhere and I really can't be arsed to hunt at this time of the day! ;D I'll look after work tomorrow. well if you do, you can use it to boot up your pc and repair the windows installation, if thats what the problem is. to do that though, you need to go into the BIOS and change the 1st device which attempts to boot up windows from the hard disc to your DVD/CD drive.

I had a similar problem once, but a friend of mine popped open the case and found a loose cable on the hard drive. Hey it's worth a check

Hmmm... I would probably fuck something else up in the process!
It seems to have sorted itself out now, anyway. Though apparently it's a sign that my hard drive is gonna cease to be, soon.
