We are suspecting that a business competitor of ours has somehow been reading some peoples emails at work. Too many coincidental things have happened.
Are there programs that can find a password for someone's email account or something?
We have since encrypted everything, but was just wondering if there is a way.
Thanks for the help

emails usually pass several intermediate computers and servers until theyre finally sent to the recipicient. if no encryption has been employed its pretty easy for someone who has connected to an unprotected intermediate machine to get the content of an email.
maybe there's a trojan or a keylogger installed on one of your companies computers.
there are programs that scripted to obtain passwords...phishing software, brute force attacks, dictionary attacks... John The Ripper is a pretty popular tool for that..
