I have this show in a single file I want to edit. I split every song in a wav file but I want to convert them in mp3. the thing is that the "converting" program adds about 0.040sec at the beginning and at the end of each song and therefore there's a really small but noticeable gap between songs.
how can I eliminate that so it doesn't "jump" when going from one song to another?
thanks in advance

Thats the problem with mp3s most mp3 players do that "jump" no matter if there is that gap or not. the one thing you can do is try and manually remove them with some good audio software. if you want pm me the mp3s and ill see what i can do . i d be more than happy to try and fix that prob for you. just let me know your pal the force

thanks for the reply. but I left that huge wav file at home and deleted all the mp3s ;D yeah , I know.
so I used sound forge to split the tracks and tried saving it as mp3 and that's when i got the gaps. then I tried saving as wavs, it was ok but then when I converted them with dbpoweramp it added those silences again.
maybe you can recommend some cool soft I can use, I don't mind spending the time trying myself.
cheers
