ok so just to put this in perspective im a complete novice

i was wondering if someone could tell me how people record from internet streaming and radio sesions and stuff like that. (what programmes are needed etc.)

also how do people seperate the files so they can be uploaded individually?

I use Adobe Audtion 2, but there is a much simpler method...

I use this free application - Mega MP3 splitter - to split big mp3 files, quite easy to use.

Im sure there are others out there which will split other file formats aswell
