you mean to auto run the exe file when disc inserted? you can use a simple autorun inf file and tell it to run the file once the disc has loaded. easy to modify an existing one from any free cd from a magazine or such....

I managed to burn it to disc, but it comes up with a folder with a text file and the exe file... so to make it run automatically I need an autorun inf file? How do I make one of those?

look in any disc with autorun the file "autorun.inf". make a similiar one. there should be a line with
autorun= .......
put there the path of your exe file and burn it on your disc.- place it in the root

Would it look like this?

yep. that's it.
for instance if you have this on your disc:
whatever.exe file.txt
the path would be
[autorun] open= whatever.exe
or if it's inside a folder
[autorun] open=folderName\whatever.exe
but I think there might be some options. take a look in that file you made the screen shot of
hope that works ;D lol

Inside that autorun file it says:
[autorun] open = launch.exe CD 3 icon = alone.ico
So I just delete that and put in:
autorun=pptview.exe Sittingbourne
Is that right?

hmmm. I'm not sure
I think it's
[autorun] open= pptview.exe
what's "Sittingbourne"?
don't you have a RW CD to test it?

Riiiggt, I lost the disc I did this one so have to do it again. But where do I put this autorun file again? Coz I've tried it just on the disc and actually in the exe file and it doesn't open up powerpoint viewer, it just opens up the disc and shows what files are on it. I followed what I did before but it doesn't seem to be working

the autorun file should be in the root of the cd.
