hi all
Got a bit of a weird problem. I've just been given a 40gb 4th Gen iPod. When I got it, it already had music on it (2nd hand) so I did a system restore thru the latest ipod updater. Once this was done, I opened up Itunes and connected the ipod up. After naming the ipod, (i didn't register it as I wasnt online at the time) it began to load up...
Anyway. I have around 6000 songs to load up and so I left the room as it was gonna take some time. When I returned about 90 mins later I found this error message on my screen....
'the specified I/O operation on E: (ie the iPod drive) was not completed before the time out expired'
There was another message pop up saying the process had been aborted and all my data was lost!
I'm completely lost! I have no idea whats causing this! I didnt have this problem on my old 20gb ipod at all? HELP!!!
thanks!
