AUDIO:-

i cant seem to organize stuff in folders on the ipod-ie i want a folder says "oasis"-with individual folders eg "manchester 2005" within it-when i click "add folder" on itunes it just lists the songs and when i tf to the ipod i have a whole list of oasis songs but dont know what show is what

VIDS:-

the tosser in the store said itunes would import all my vids and convert to a playable format

it wont-it dont seem to like any of my oasis vids-i bought quicktime p;ro7 which supposedly will convert my files to compatible format but the fuckin license key dont work so i gotta wait til monday and phone up


thing is i already had a creative muvo ipod and bought this to watch vids but i aint managed to get any on the ipod

got quicktime pro 7 now convertin vids but it takes HOURS

ive got the same thing, video ipod, mar, do you notice how easly scratched it gets, the case they give you actually scratches it, whoever deiced that the front should be made of glass is a nobhead

Organising songs on your iPod? If you enter the details correctly in iTunes they should be ok mat! Like enter the artist and album for the songs and they'll be organised fine....unless you want it done differently? How ya want it

NEARLY sorted

encoded several boot dvds and put em on,...ace quality

but sorting of files/folders aint quite there

what i do is...

open itunes
click library
click file-create new playlist-then name it as the boot eg wembley 2nd nite
click add file-an in turn add (in this case) the 4 parts
highlite each part in turn-click file-get info-then rename each part, show it as album title wembley-and designate it as music video
all looks cool...............
on lhs of itunes screen it lists each album title on the ipod
when i go to play on the ipod its all sorted neatly-videos-music videos-oasis-but NOT the album title instead they all come up in a long list

HOW do i get albums sorted each in its own section?

do i designate each as part of a compilation?
or do i create a genre as oasis and then each album as a playlist?

anybody?

the problem is that on the comp screen in itunes each album shows as a separate named playlist-which is what i want on the ipod so i can click an album/dvd name and get the ipod to play it all

but when i look on the ipod itself its sorted stuff neatly into oasis/u2/brmc sections

but then when you go into a band name all you get is long lists of song names

(and i did edit the files so they each include artist, song name, album/dvd title)

will first try one of the guys i work with who has an ipod only i aint been in the office in awhile
