I need a new printer coz me current one wont print out black charachters for some reason, its ok when theres black colouring in clip art etc. but doesnt print any letters.
Was looking around last week and came across a couple. Normal ones for around €60-80, but there was one that was the 3 in 1 model, printer, scanner, photocopier for €150 (around £100, € & $ are roughly the same).
Is this good value, its a brand name (forget which one) it also says it is good for printing off photos.
any suggestions on a different one to get?
cheers

an "all in one" is useful, we have one @ home and its used all the time to fax/print/scan/copy etc ours is a "brother" make, and believe it was just under £100.... (@uni) would make life easier if i had my own printer so think im gettin one at the weekend primarily for photos, so maybe a dedicated photo one if i can afford one...

i bought a new inkjet last month and it's great. it's a Canon Pixma IP4000. it's not an all in one, but it's still an amazing printer. prints out documents super fast for a inkjet, and it can be hooked up directly to a digital camera with pictbridge. The price is a bit high relative to other inkjet printers out there but it's worth it. You can also find IP5000 and IP6000 which are newer models. it's not an all in one but i figured i already have a scanner so i don't need another.
