Hey all, just wondering what is the best method for recording live at a gig, recording equipment/devices and the such? Any recomendations, advice? Thanks and Live Forever

Thanks and Live Forever a minidisc recorder and a decent stereo microphone is what i would prob do. if you can get access to the mixing desk, (with/without bribes), then you could take a direct line out...

so you can sell it on ebay??? No, absolutely not. I thought it would be neat to have a boot of a gig that I was actually at and recorded for myself, nothing more. So, a minidic recorder and a decent mic, anything else, maybe alittle more discrete? Are the guys at the mixing table usually cool about letting you plug into the board?
