MSN sucks, I hate all the ads for stupid news stories on the side of teh mailbox. It not only makes the load time slower but also takes up too much space.

Its ALWAYS a good idea to do the following: DELETE internet HISTORY files (go to tools, internet options, clear history) DELETE COOKIES/CACHES (im using Windows2000 saves me RAM ) so for W2k users go to C Drive, Document & Settings, Administrator (if u r using administrator account), cookies.. n delete all stuff that looks like note pads) DELETE porn dialers! SERIOUS HAVE Adware AND Spyware detector+removal .. some adware u cant delete.. its usually ok (usually if u use a program/s that is free to use but bundled with ad.. Hello Kazza).. Adware, n spyware especially do weird stuff, n slows down ur computer. if ur too tight 2 buy full version... u can search & download it in p2p (NOT RECOMMENDED... legally speaking) HAVE an anti- Virus program, remember to update the virus definitions (new ones every few days)... u can get in p2ps (not recommended, legal matters) Scan ur computer at least everyweek. Scan for virus using anti virus software. Scan for error, for w2ks, go to watever drive u have, right click, tools, scan for error... Defrag: to increase speed (makes the pc locate files easier) = Right click C or D or Wateva Drive, choose properties, tools, n defragment) Make sure ur windows (if u r using windows as ur OS) is UPDATED regularly. Cant remember the site. just google it "windows update" go to the site, n download ALL the CRITICAL UPDATES... if u haven done this in a while... take sometimes off to download N install 'em. I just installed few new updates yesterday (u can auto update, for u who doesnt know) I do all of the above regulary... i dont have problems with me pc, even tho i'm using a Pentium 3 n Windows 2k... With MSN server.. if u can log in the messenger try to click "help" on the window that says it can log u on, it usually tells u wat happens to MSN server So, anyone having problem, dont blame the programs or wateva... if u take care ur pc, it will do wateva u want it to do.... I know it doesnt answer ur question but... i reckon it wud help in keeping ur pc in optimum... err.. condition.. or wateva... Peace out
