I just checked Billboard.com and Lyla is in the top 20 at 19 on the Modern Rock Chart.
This is really huge, as I don't think Oasis has had a song with this much US radio succes in quite some time. I never really believed that these mass requests on message boards helped, but aparently its working. Keep it up and maybe it could go top ten to coincide with the album release.
OASIS ROCKS!

Unlike the UK, the American charts almost directly correspond with radio airplay.

It's good to see that they cracked the top 20.

Top 20 is huge... this from a band that hasn't received any attention in the USA since the whimpers about Be Here Now, it's very encouraging.

Lyla is the #50 most downloaded song on iTunes (which is very strong considering most of the songs in front of it are rap/soul). It is the #11 most downloaded rock song.

The best to ya ! yeah, i fuckin' hate that! somoene asks me what my favorite band is (besides the beatles) and i say oasis and they look at me like i've completely lost my mind and i have to go : do you remember that song wonderwall, or the song with the chorus "where were you while we were gettin high" (cus they don't even know the fuckin' name)? it would be nice to talk about them casually and have it not be one sided - imagine that!!!
