been said before, but of all the old b-sides, i want to hear "It's Good To Be Free"
how about Married With Children electric too?, like back in 94 early 95
or up in the sky??? liam could skip the falsetto bit and it wouldnt be too hard
just wishful thinking, i hope one of them gets played, but i'll happy either way :-)

I would be STUNNED if they played Flashbax. Noel refuses to play almopst anything from BHN, let alone a B-side from that era. I've always liked the song, though.
They won't cover the Pistols, either. Noel's already said they're sticking with My Generation (which is great, but... come on - give us something new, ya bastard!)

How about Made of Stone? I've read a few reviews of last night's gig at the Astoria and one cheeky bastard said they WERE covering a Kink's tune (basically slagging off TIOBI - wanker). I agree that they should have a new cover this time around. My Generation is great but they have been playing it too fucking long. You say that MG is the cover from the HC-era, which is true in that it was on one of HC's singles; but in reality they first started playing it back in the SOTSOG days (it was done on a radio station vote for which song they should cover, but I think that might have been rigged). So really it has been going around for over 5 years - they need to find a new cover. The dude on the webcast who suggested Ace Of Spades was on to a winner I think, that would sound the dogs bollocks with Liam singing it. I like it when they pull out a new cover, like when they did Hey, Hey, My My - great version. |

I would LOVE to see Noel do some more acoustic stuff, it adds some great light and shade to a show I think. I would like to see them play more acoustics onstage anyway, songs like Wonderwall don't sound half as good being pounded out on electrics. It doesn't even have to be just Noel, get Gem and Andy out there as well! ;D |
