If you look at the dates from Houston (Woodlands Pavillion) Sept. 25th. They then head to Atlanta for Sept 27th. They then head North to Baltimore area for Sept 29 and then Cleveland area for Sept 30th. That is the last concert listed in N. America.
There is no way to do any Florida concert just before or after Atlanta. So unless they decide to shoot back down South befor they head back or head somewhere else, it doesn't look good.
If anyone has any rumours on more dates especially Florida, let me know.
Wonder if a come to Florida petition especially with all the Brits that live here in the Sunshine state, could help the cause.

I agree, a stop in Florida isn't looking promising. I live in Miami during the school year and Orlando during the summer, and I'm really bummed they haven't made any plans to come to the sunshine state. However, we got really lucky in 2002 when they made two stops here. I went to both shows -- including the one where Liam left after four songs and Noel carried on acoustically. Pretty wild shit.
Anyway, it's a shame because the University of Miami has just built an arena and bands like Coldplay and Green Day have played there and sold it out. It's not too big, but it's in the heart of Miami so they could easily fill it and put on a great show.
Well, as far as a petition goes, I don't think it'd do much help. Their tour manager, I'm sure, has his reasons to book them in some cities and not in others.
But if you start a petition, I'll be sure to sign it.
Cheers, Chris

I think more dates are going to be announced. So there is still a chance they may make a stop in Florida.

Yeah I was at both shows last time to. Although I was already going to see them in Orlando that Sunday after the Friday night show in Pompano, I called my friend at like 4pm ( I live in Tampa) and I said "Want to drive and see them in Pompano?!!!!" So we drove down at like 90 mph and we kept calling on the way down to make sure it wasn't sold out, and they said there was like a handful of tix left. We drove so fast over Alligator Alley I'm glad I didn't get pulled over. We found the place, and when we pulled in to park (obviously missing Soundtrack of Our Lives), I could hear Go let It Out over the speakers. We got out and ran to the tickets and there was like 6 left!!! Finally sold out. Anyway, as we walked in I saw Liam for like 10 seconds then he threw his tambourine in the air, walked to the mic and said his voice was gone and walked off. Then Noel huddled with the band and did a 7-8 song acoustic set, just by himself and then the band came back and they played on. The Acoustic set made it great b/c I got the full regular concert two days later at the Hard Rock.
The funniest thing about that night however was that in my excitement to drive 4 hours and to see Liam for 10 seconds, I was so excited when I heard GLIO when I drove up w/ my windows down, I rolled up the windows and ran to the show, leaving my car IN S.FLORIDA mind you, running with the keys and unlocked!!!!
Well car was fine, went to some English Pub nearby (Hound something ) then Hotel and then back to Tampa on Saturday. Drove over Sunday night and saw them like I said in Orlando.
After all that, I am still going to Boston show, but I want Florida.
I hope Step Out is right!!!

I thought I may have read somewhere on the official page that they would be touring the US in Sept and October. You never know, they could wind their way back down south again.
Don't get discouraged until all the dates are announced and Florida is left off. Just make plans to travel to a show!

am really hoping for a Florida show, I am gonna see them in Atlanta, but would love to be able to see 2 shows this time around, only saw them in Orlando in 2002, and I kick myself so much for not going to Pompano Beach and seeing a Noel acoustic set like that! oh well, at least I have the bootleg! Maybe they can come to my sleepy town of Sarasota, Florida!

Well if they did the West Coast of Florida it would be in Tampa Bay area and probably not Sarasota. Although that drive wouldn't be too bad for ya.
