mtv is nothing but fricking shows, and when they play there 5 videos for the day it's all hip hop and other r &b shit. oasis has no prayer unless some miracle happens. but i am glad that it is doing so well on the radio here in la/oc!! they play it almost every hour, and are pumpin up the hollywood bowl show big time!!

have any of these stations caught on to anything about oasis requests? like maybe this could be a pretty organized collective thats voting on every station and website they can find...

But my bet is a lot of bands have fans who do this--so why not Oasis? Anyway, Lyla was doing pretty well before the more "organized" request efforts began. It usually takes a couple weeks for a new song to reach high rotation; Oasis is right on track. As a side note, Oasis is probably the "biggest" band with the smallest amount of airplay in the U.S.. After all, they have sold out or are soon to sell out substantial venues like MSG and the Hollywood bowl--and havn't gotten respectable airplay in about 8 years. It is time US radio took notice. |

I AGREE, AND WE MUST KEEP UP THE VOTES, DO NOT SLACK OFF!! I VOTE ON NOT ONLY WHERE I LIVE LA/OC, BUT ALSO AT LEAST 10 OTHER STATIONS A DAY THAT I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THEY ARE. OTHER BANDS HAVE ORGANIZED ARMY'S BUT WE MUST SHOW THAT THEY ARE NOT BETTER THAN US!!!
