Can anybody who has been to an Oasis show recently (Heathen Chemistry tour or Glastonbury 2004) tell me how loud Oasis plays now? I have never been to one of their shows (I know. This is very sad, but I was really young the last time that they were anywhere close to where I live and couldn't afford travel expenses at that age), but I am going to two in September. People have said that they used to be really loud, but I was wondering whether they still are.

Oasis live is a real experience especially when a lot of people here so mush acoustic stuff on cd.
the amps are cranked.

I agree... in 2002 Toronto Ampitheatre, man that was loud!! I had the ringing in my ear the morning after!
The ampitheatre's medium sized, so I guess it all depends on the venue...

went on the heathen chemistry tour and they were good but not as loud as on the 'be here now' tour and in my opinion although gem & andy are better musically oasis were better live with bonehead and guigsy for pure loudness and energy, it's very controlled now.

I went to finsbury Park 2002 and I was at different positions during the gig, at the back, it was nice and clear and not overly loud, nearer the front it was louder but not such that my ears were ringing when I left.
