This is awesome guys! All the comments have been dead on so far!
A terrific stomper! It definitely grows on you! It's great and yet at the same time I see how people hope it's the 5th best song on the album, that'd be great.
But seriously, this song sounds different! I mean, I think this whole album will, and if people give this song half a chance I think Oasis will do very well (if they tune out immediately - b/c at first listen I wasn't blown away) well,
anyway, even if all of the songs are worse than this song I don't care (well I'd prefer if they were better) but I mean it's more oasis and once you dig the sound, it's all good the question is merely how awesome, the awesomer the better but after a barren three years I'm just soooo happy for something!

I don't know anymore! The first 30 seconds of the first time I listened to it I was very sceptical and didn't really like it - but then I was like, yeah man, this is good and listened to it again and was like ALRIGHT! and then just put it on repeat and turned it up really loud and got really into it and just started loving it. Then I took a break and listened to it fairly quietly and well, I might be having second thoughts. I mean I still like it - but as a lead-off single? I mean it's alright, but is it really going to make anyone go "man, I have to listen to this song" It does for me, but I love oasis, what about for the average person? I'm just finding that if I sit down to listen to it going in with the mindset of "fuck this is the best thing ever, yeah!" then I tend to think that it is, but if I go in all critical and sceptical I don't like it as much and comparing it to their other songs I'm not altogether impressed. I like it, I think it's a good song, but as the lead-off single/supposed best song? (Then again Noel said it's the ffth best song - but he also said you could pogo to it) I don't know - what I do know is that it's clearly too early to be judging it for me
