I have heard that they are rehearsing about 20 songs for the upcoming tour? (SOME of which I hope are the ones I have listed below!!) Here's my dream setlist (for the Tweeter Center), this took a while BTW: Jet exits. After about 10 minutes, everything goes pitch black. A medley of 10-15 well-known Oasis tracks play during the moment of darkness. All of a sudden, Fucking In the Bushes roars over the PA... Entire stage lights up with lazers shooting all over the place... The place goes apeshit... Noel is first on the stage, from one side, then Liam, then the rest of the band, with instruments in hand Now the songs... 1-Rock N Roll Star LIAM hollers out BOSTON!!!!!!!!! 2-Morning Glory 3-Go Let It Out 4-Stand By Me 5-Roll With It 6-Song from new album, maybe Lyla? 7-Song from new album 8-Gas Panic Noel tells the crowd how great it is to be back in Boston, especially after what happened the last time they were in the States Liam does a dedication to who-ever, and then: 9-Live Forever 10-Round Are Way (I know I can dream, right??) 11-She's Electric (Again, dreaming) Then, Noel dedicates the next song to the New York Yankees: 12-Stop Crying Your Heart Out 13-The Hindu Times 14-Another Song from the new album 15-Some Might Say Band exits... then the encores: 16-Don't Look Back In Anger 17-Songbird 18-Champagne Supernova Band leaves again, then ONE MORE ENCORE, and this is the biggest dream of em all (and I can really hear Liam signing this, also): 19-A cover of Dirty Water by the Standells (It's a local Boston song... if you've never heard it before, download it, Oasis would do a master job at it, don't you think?) There you have it!

Well I live in Florida but have 2 tix to the Tweeter Center show in Boston.
Hoping they come South too.
Anyway, I seriously doubt they will only do 3 songs from the new album. Probably more like 5-6.

I hope they´re gonna play even more than 5-6 new tunes. 7-9 would be good. If they play just 3-4 new ones then it´s not very good promotion for new album.

They'll play at least 7-9 new songs. They played a shit ton off of Heathen Chemistry. And I also think they will play more new songs toward the beginning of the show countering what djlen had wrote.

Well done mate.
I'd drop She's Electric and throw in Slide Away. A boy can dream.

No matter what, it seems like an Oasis setlist has to be missing somthing... does it not? Between curfew, time restraints, album publicity, single marketing, and everything else involved in a bands career- they have to somehow please the die hard fans, plus they have to please the occassional fan that hasnt bought a record since Morning Glory and only wants to hear Wonderwall ten times. They've got sooo many brialliant songs to choose from, it's impossible to squeeze the best 15-20 in one set without leaving some attendees in the dark. After that being said, if I had my way, the set would go as follows-
Dyou Know What I Mean Lyla The Hindu Times Columbia Thank You For The Good Times Stop Crying Your Heart Out --a new song-- Gas Panic
Noel Acoustic To Be Someone Idlers Dream
Dont Look Back In Anger - a new noel song- - a new Liam song- Shakermaker Live Forever -a new song- Whatever Roll It Over Champagne Supernova
encore Be Here Now Here Come The Nice (Noel) Wonderwall All Around The World
To begin the encore with BHN and end with All Around the world would be absolutely mega!!
I'll be at every Eastern U.S. show, so I hope they mix it up at least a little bit. No matter what, it will be amazing! My magazine is doing a "life on the road with Oasis" piece.

WOW that would be tops... Imagine if Noel decided to throw in You've Got The Heart Of A Star to the mix, as well? But he would only do TWO acoustic songs per show, so he would rotate the songs and you wouldn't know which two you were gonna get, as a surprise. BTW I happen to think that Idler's Dream is one of the most amazing pieces of music that Noel has ever written, and I would LOVE to hear him do it live.

Noel simply has to bring back the acoustic set. It's always everyones highlight of the night. Imagine MSG with the lighters out.
And tavel with an orchestra. Just to spice up the Whatevers, Stop Crying Your Hearts Outs etc. Make the epics sound like epics for the U.S. crowd.

the list by herecomesthenice is interesting, lots of good choices i love the idea of noel doing idler's dream on an acoustic, would sound brilliant; but to me slide away or sad song would be mega. and finally, someone points out Roll it Over; without a doubt one of their best tunes, yet i never heard anything about it being played live and yea, all around the world would be the way to end it; fuckin tops if that was the case

Do you think they'll cover a song?
I think a Jam or a Stone Roses song would be great.

Do you think they'll cover a song? I think a Jam or a Stone Roses song would be great. I think that, if they´ll do some cover it will be My generation or I am the walrus. But I don´t mind if pick up something else..I´m more interested to hear new songs in live. Based on Noels description of each track, rockin´ ones are: Turn up the sun, Mucky fingers, Lyla, Keep the dream alive and The meaning of soul. So I hope they play those songs at least
