Its been an interesting morning hasnt it?
There seems to be loads of conspiracy theories about, most of which sound really clever and plausible to me. In summary,
someone said that that the words on the new pic on the home page is an anagram of 'do the line', the word lie is there, it does seem like it could be a whole really clever marketing thing based around the actual possible titles 'dont beleive the truth!' Genius!
Maybe that isnt the new title and the new one will be revealed nearer the release which really would be genius marketing, dont know about you but im getting a whole new feel for the imgae of this album and year ahead, i think that this will be the biggest marketing camapign ever for Oasis, i think all the songs wever heard or heard about wont even be on the album! theyll be b sides and set list fillers etc! The whole style seems to be very punk in the way it looks (judging by that one picture), lets only assume it sounds that way too!
even the single name 'Lyla' sound like Liar as someone said. I think theyre fukin with us, and laughing their heads off, its a really brilliant marketing campaign all based on that album title, and it to me has an underlying stab at the critics and press whov'e lied about Oasis for years now! too many people have been believinf their 'truth' for years.
im probably getting pover excited and i know some fukstik'll come back with a crappy response, but theres osmething going on, i dont know what it is, but i like it

ya there could be a conspiracy going on here, the song "lyla" pronounced lie-ya (most likey). And one of the words in the background in the new pic, is lie.

it's just a promo shot people, it's definitely not the album cover My guess is that it was whipped together on photoshop by a web guy really quick cause the andy mustache mistake would never make it past an art director or the band ... |

I think that some are reading way too much into this. Noel is too much of a staight-shooter, tell-it-like-it-is person to concoct some strange marketing farce. He is rock n roll through and through. Some of those things suggested in this thread are things that boy bands would attempt, not Oasis.
