what do they mean when they say "when" oasis ruled the world they still do this is tv man. oasis was never really about tv. it was about rock'n'roll, playing live and doing big gigs with stunning atmosphere that will always be remembered. for me this is what oasis is about! and tv is the reason why the list comes like this... 1. Morning Glory which i'm sure would be much different if only a half of the true oasis fans could vote. i mean, that's just boring, wonderwall always ends up at 1st place. which is really sad. i'm beginning to hate this tune just becuase of it. how i see it, live forever is the best tune ever written and should end up at the top without any question. champagne supernova is a song that i live with. it's basically the soundtrack of my life. and it defined a generation. i mean this is like a big fuckin triumph after putting out definitely maybe which they'll probably never beat and an album like morning glory after it. you know what i mean? my top 10 would be(singles only): 1. live forever 2. champagne supernova 3. don't look back in anger 4. stand by me 6. d'you know what i mean 7. cigarettes & alcohol 8. some might say 9. the hindu times & 10. supersonic here, it's the last but it was their first. it was the one that made the world spin around again if you ask me. what's your's top 10?  |

When I was watching "When Oasis Ruled The World" I was expecting some sort of 'Behind The Music' documentary type thing, but I was pleasantly suprised when it was a selection of their best songs, also on another note, it wasn't just '94 - '96, as the first song they played was Songbird  |

The When Oasis ruled the world showed all the more rarer videos such as some Be Here Now one and a Stand By ME acoustic video that you don't see on TV often.

My top 10: 1- Live4ever 2-Wonderwall 3-Aquiesce 4-Hung in a bad Place 5-Don't look back in anger 6-Half the world away 7-Fade away 8-Supersonic 9-Born on a different cloud 10-Ciggarettes & alcohol I know this list could sound a little weird, but i think this are some of their best, although it's difficult to choose....maybe i forgot some... I choose born on a different cloud 'cos i think its liam's best song... and the fact that hung in a bad place is written by gem, make me choose it.Maybe...if it was written by noel, i wouldnt have choose it... Then, half the world away....i includ it cos i cant think of a person who couldnt like this type of music, i can understand that some ppl dont like, for example c&a, but htwa is just, superb...same as wonderwall write ur list guys! |
