Hi
I just bought the "Familiar to Millions" DVD today, and i realised something. The crowd on the cd, is much more louder. You can't hear the crowd during "don't look back in anger" on the DVD but on the cd they just blow you away. Are they recorded differently ?

It's mixed differently.
When they first come on and Liam says "Hello Manchester" you can hear Noel laugh on the CD but not on the DVD even though you can see him.

Agreed.
And also Wonderwall on the DVD the crowd sing, whereas Liam sings on the CD AND words it differently, in the DVD he sings "By now you shouldda somehow realised not to sniff glue" whereas on the CD he sings it normally.

I think so, although another story is that it had to be played twice because the director f*cked up the filming the first time round

they did two shows there, didnt they? one night after another?
alot of bands do that to ensure they get second chances. alot of times they cut and paste the audio and video from both shows. and they mix them differently as well...
the Docs on the DVD are prety good. some media interviews and stadium stuff. but i don't think there is that studio interview with noel... unless it's an easter egg... btw. ARE there easter eggs on that live DVD? or any of the other live DVDs?

It may be a bit diffrent because on the DVD it skips between the two shows and on the CD it's only the one show.
Another thing is that when Noel says to turn the fuckn' light off on the DVD you never see any light.
